Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Rainbow Dental Care at (409) 225-5559; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Very very poor customer service! The front desk clerk loves to argue back and forth with patients. They are very money hungry instead of doing what the patient is asking for they rather do other things that’s not asked for but wants you to keep scheduling non sense appointments with them. My kids been going to them for 8 years and I don’t see the appreciation of keeping them there. I’m finding another dentist as we speak. DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!!!

Not impressed with this dentist. The assistants and receptionist are all very nice people but the dentist herself could learn how to show a little more compassion to her patients. I understand that she has a job to do but complaining that your patient is crying or having anxiety because you chose to start drilling the cavity first INSTEAD of asking the patient if they wanted the shot to numb your mouth is unacceptable. Just a really bad experience. Reminds someone of why people are scared of the dentist in the first place.

This doesn’t even deserve a star at all. I brought my 4 year old for two teeth to be removed, two capped, and also two filled. Her first ever procedure being done in a dental office. Her appointment was 3:15, we didn’t get to be seen till almost 4:30 and they were so rude and rushing due to a special needs child they set his appointment to after ours and then gave my child little to no attention and when they did it was rushed and very short handed because (as they even stated) β€œall the assistants are in the other room helping with the other kid. The dentist told me they won’t do gas or anything other than numbing cream and had two people holding her down and starting giving her shots no gas or anything and my child is 4 and has never had a dentist appointment prior to this, and last second asked me and my girlfriend to hold my child’s legs down or it would be bad. I started freaking out and just crying holding her telling her I’m so sorry. She rushed and filled the two cavities in less than a minute then yanked two of the teeth that needed to be pulled out and told me I couldn’t have them and they were her first teeth ever losing. They put gauze in her mouth and left and had the f

They held my 3 yesterday Olds face and made her scared of going to the dentist....it was her 1st time ever going and she normally loves brushing her teeth and smiling and all that but they made her not want to ever have anyone near her mouth again. They are not kid friendly. Will not be going back. They could of made the experience so much more fun and compassionate. Told me it was frustrating that she wouldn't cooperate, they caused her to not wanna sit in the chair.... who does that to a little kid?!? I do not recommend them for small children.

I recently brought my children to Rainbow Dental Care. We have been in the Beaumont area for several years now and this is the first time that I have felt comfortable in a dental office. The staff were friendly and explained all the treatment to me in a way that I could understand. Anyone looking for a good office this is the place to go.
